A more challenging and remote alternative to the
North West loop are offer breathtaking views and
interesting subcultures. This incredible route
takes you through verdant vistas and mountain

jungle and tiered paddy fields rising and
falling as far as the eye can see. Along the
way, you ll be hosted by different hill tribes

in the hills for centuries, and their ways of
life have little changed from generation to

Day 1: Pick up at the airport upon arrival transfer to
Hanoi for city tour
On arrival at
Noi Bai Airport, you are met and transferred to
hotel. Ha Noi , Vietnam's
capital, is a stylish and gracious city that
retains an unique old world charm and some Asia
‘s most striking colonial architecture. The many
lakes and parks make for relaxing atmosphere. If
time permits we enjoy a short cyclo excursion
through the bustling old quarter streets named
after the specific goods once offered for sale
at these places
Day 2: Hanoi
Driving to Nghia Lo of mountains landscape
Depart from Hanoi to Nghia Lo driving along and through the
Da River into the mountains of Phu Tho province
and to Yen Bai province the area is home to
Thai, Nung, H'mong, La Ha and Ma ethnic minority
peoples. On the way we are stopover at some
villages for take a picture are exciting
landscape of terrace fields of rice and tea
plantation with people are colorful traditional
clothes of Tribe people then exploring local
market on the way travelling to Nghia Lo .
Arrival at Nghia Lo at17h30 pm for check in
hotel O/N in Nghia Lo.
Day 3: Nghia Lo - Mu Cang Chai - Than Uyen (B)
Today after breakfast we have a very beautiful
day driving from Nghia Lo to Than Uyen with
scenery of terrace rice and high pass with the
chance to visit local market in Mu Cang Chai
before we leave for our next destination
Exploring the local market in Tu Le is a good
chance to shop for local handicrafts, this area
is without foreigner tourist traveling by this
way, its new way just opening and exploring by
us. Today's drive is along an exciting stretch
of road which climbs over the mountain pass to
Than Uyen past H'mong, La Ha and Dzao hill tribe
communities. At the bottom of the valley is the
town of Than Uyen. O/N in Than Uyen.
Day 4:Than Uyen - Lai Chau - Sapa and trekking
in villages (B)
(Market's day on Thu, Sun)
After breakfast continue travel to Sapa. The
road follows the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range
and winds through tea plantations and rice
terraces as it hugs the Nam Ma River. This
stunning valley is dotted with Tay , Dzao and
H'mong hill tribe villages. Over the 1900 meter
Tram Ton Pass to Sa Pa located in the
breathtaking Hoang Lien Son Mountains. On
arrival for check in the hotel then a-hour trek
to Cat Ca village and waterfall, Black H'mong
and other ethnic minority people converge from
the surrounding countryside to sell their
embroidery, silverware and handicrafts and to
buy provisions. O/N in Sapa.
Day 5: Special day trekking down to
Tavan Village and Home stay (B.L.D)
At 9h30 am we leave the hotel and start trekking. The first
part is on the road but we soon turn to the
right and walk on a small path down the valley
to the
Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black
H’mong village Lao Chai. Black H’mong is one of
the biggest minority groups in the Sapa area.
They are proud of their culture and keep their
traditions and way of living. They have their
own language and wear traditional indigo blue
clothing. After this you continue to Ta Van
village (1.200 m) to visit Zay people. Through a
lush bamboo forest and past local villages. Stop
to enjoy a picnic lunch. After lunch, then
continue trek to village for an insightful night
with your Tay hosts, where you'll sleep in the
cozy loft complete with comfy mattress and a
mosquito net.We stay overnight with a local
family in Ta Van and have our dinner here. O/N
home stay in village.
Day 6: Village trek and driving
back Sapa (B)
After breakfast then have continuing to trek through some
more villages with some the dirt
road with an incredible
landscape of rice terrace and
wonderful experience to wander
around this colorful
congregation for the car ride
back to Sa Pa. Explore the town
or go shopping in the market for
local produce. Afternoon free
for exploring Market in Sapa

Day 7: Sapa -
Hanoi (B)
An early in the morning we leave Sapa to Hanoi
on the way you stopover at Vietnamese
and China Border and then continue trip
The scenic road passes through many
picturesque landscapes changing from the
Tonkinese Alps to the Delta Region. On
the way, you can make stops as you
please, to stretch your legs and take
photographs. Arriving in Hanoi at 17h00
PM End of trip. (B )
TRIP NOTE: What to bring during on trip?
Viet Nam is a developing country whose
infrastructure may differ from what you expect
in your homeland. Road conditions are poor and
accommodation may be basic in mountain region.
At village, we stay overnight in dormitory type
or tribal huts, there are no western toilet , no
current water nor electricity. There are no
air-conditioning transports available in and
around Sa Pa. + Good weather for trek in Sa Pa
from September until June. We recommend you to
bring rain jacket, inner sleeping sheets,
walking boots, warm clothes ( in winter), lamp
torch, toilet papers. + Occasionally, this
itinerary may be amended for reasons beyond our
control such as weather and roads conditions
